BCSDOA encourages its members to adopt eco-friendly dredging practices, including the use of hydraulic dredging and sediment management systems that minimize ecological disruption.
Research from Dhaka University emphasizes that sustainable dredging, when combined with riverbank afforestation, can significantly reduce flood risks and improve biodiversity in aquatic ecosystems.
